Been having a beginner look at seeds and ending up underground, in many wormholes! Below is a beautiful time lapse x-ray video of a mungbean seed germinating, and an interesting read about germination from the Australian Academy of Sciences. 

The SA Seed Centre has x-ray imagery of seeds. They help to test the seeds viability. Here is an example of some Dodonaea viscosa ssp angustissima Narrow-leaf Hop-bush seeds.
