Decline of native grasses

I happened to find this piece of writing in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Annual Report from 1885, I think written by the then Director R. Schomburgk, Dr Phil. Not sure what page it was on – will reinvestigate if/when we are able to go to the library again.
